About Leslie
Leslie Knope is the Deputy Director of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department, where she revived the Harvest Festival that saved her department, turned the infamous pit at Lot 48 into a real park, and founded the Pawnee Goddesses so every kid in town gets a shot at leadership. On council she'll fight for public health — she's proud of the soda tax and will say so to anyone — for parks in every ward, and for a Pawnee River you can actually canoe without a tetanus shot. She believes in Pawnee, public service, and breakfast food, in that order.
